Water Dispenser Not Working


Possible Cause What to Do

First use / New Install

Air may be trapped in the line the first time you use it. Press dispenser for two minutes to remove trapped air and to fill the water system.

Alternatively, this installation may not have been completed correctly, You will need a Service Technician to assist with this - Click here to schedule a visit.

Water supply – household

Check the flow rate of water elsewhere in your household. If it is slow or there is no water, you may need to contact your water supplier.

Water supply turned off or not connected
  • Turn water on.  
  • Run your water dispenser pad until water dispenses, this will displace trapped air in the water tank and filter system. This will take at least 2 minutes. Once water has dispensed reset the dispenser pad for 2 minutes.  
Supply line may be blocked.  On first installation there may be air trapped in water system. Check supply for kinks or leaks.  To remove air, run 3 - 4 litres (4 qt) of water through the dispenser.
Filter may be blocked and need replacing Replace filter cartridge, see ‘Water filter’ section in your User Guide.

Dispenser lock turned on

Press the water dispenser lock button Disp key lock.PNG for four seconds until the light turns off.

Frozen water tank

Try raising the temperature using the internal control panel at the front of the fridge section.
