Not Filling When Pressing Start/Pause
Possible Cause | What to Do |
---|---|
Delay Start function |
Ensure the Delay Start function is set to off before starting, refer to 'Delay Start' in your User Guide. |
Keylock turned on |
Ensure Keylock is off. Refer to 'Control panel' in your User Guide for how to turn Keylock on and off. |
Washer paused |
If Start/Pause is flashing, it is waiting for a command from you. Press START/PAUSE. |
Washer door open |
Open and reclose door. Make sure the door is fully closed before starting. |
Taps/faucets | Check that both hot and cold taps are turned on (if using cold inlet only ensure the inlet valve cap is installed on the hot valve on the washer). Turning off the taps first, disconnect the two inlet hoses from the straight (tap) end before carefully turning the taps back on to check the water flow. |
Inlet hoses – filters |
Check the tap end of the inlet hose(s) for blockages. Filters inside the two inlet hoses connecting your washer to the taps can become blocked. Turning off the taps first, unscrew the hoses at the tap end. Remove filters with nose pliers and clean if required. |
Filters on machine inlet valves | Check the inlet filters on the machine for blockages. Filters on the hot and cold inlet valves can become blocked. Turn off the taps first, then unscrew the hoses at the machine end. Remove the filters with nose pliers and clean if required. |
Inlet hose leaking, twisted or damaged. | Check the inlet hose(s) for leaks and damage. Replace if necessary. Straighten any kinks or twists along the two inlet hoses that connect your washer to the taps as these can restrict water flow. If the kinks or twists return, you may need to replace the hoses. Hoses should be replaced every five years. |
Hot and cold taps not connected to the corresponding valve on the machine. | Check the cold tap is connected to the cold valve on the washer, and the hot tap is connected to the hot valve. If not, turn off the taps, swap the hoses around and turn the taps back on. The washer will stop with a user warning after a period of time if the hoses have been connected incorrectly. |
The washer has detected a fault |
If a user warning or fault code is displayed, refer to "Fault Codes" to reset your machine. |
No water supply | Check taps that aren’t connected to the machine are working. If not, investigate why there is no water supply. |
