Cooktop or Cooking Zone has Turned Itself Off Unexpectedly, a Tone Sounds & an Error Code is Displayed (typically E or Er alternating with one or two digits in the cooking zone displays)
Possible Cause | What to Do |

Technical fault | Please note down the error letters and numbers, switch the power to the cooktop off at the wall, and Contact Us with the error code information. |
The cookop electronics have overheated and the cooktop turns itself off as a safety measure. Note: This error will usually display as Er21 or E2 alternating with H |
Let the cooktop cool down before using it again. Check the Insulation has been fitted properly. |
