Ice Maker Slow

Possible Cause What to Do

Temperature control – freezer

Try lowering the temperature of the freezer section using the internal control panel in the front of the fridge section.

Door may have been left ajar Close door.
Freezer compartment too warm Turn temperature to a colder setting.  Refer to ‘Operating instructions’ section in your User Guide.

Fridge section empty

An empty or sparse fridge can affect air circulation, which may cause the internal temperature to fluctuate and slow down ice making. Add bottles of water or other large volume items to help stabilise the temperature.

Not Making Enough Ice Cubes

Your automatic ice maker will produce approximately eight cubes of ice every 3 – 4 hours, depending on the freezer compartment temperature and the number of door openings.
