Water Under Washer

 

 

Possible Cause What to Do

Uneven surface

Your washer should be on a level surface to prevent it moving during a cycle. Adjust the feet if required – refer to your User Guide for further information.

Dispenser Compartment blocked Before adding powder detergent, dry the dispenser compartment to prevent caking. Remove liquid detergent inserts where required. Refer to 'Caring for your washer' in your User Guide

Inlet hoses – leaks or damage

Check inlet hose(s) are correctly attached to the machine and taps, and not damaged.  If you need assistance please click the link at the bottom of this page to book a Fisher & Paykel service technician.

Drain hose – leaks or damage

Check the drain hose for damage and leaks.

Check drain hose is correctly installed on the standpipe.

Suds build-up

These may have leaked from your washer and then dissolved. Reduce the amount of detergent used.

Dispenser drawer

Before adding powder detergent, dry the dispenser to prevent caking. Also, ensure the liquid detergent dispenser is removed and the drawer fully closed.

Close dispenser drawer fully and ensure it remains closed throughout the cycle.

Door seal

Check the rubber seal inside the door for leaks/damage, replacing if required.

Water pressure may be too high

Try easing the tap back to help  lower the pressure of the incoming water. Refer to 'Water supply' in your User Guide for the recommended water pressure limits. Contact a plumber if needed.
