Located low down the back of the unit, the compressor is the ‘engine’ of your refrigerator. It should be warm or making a low humming noise.

Power supply – wall
|
Switch the power off at the socket, wait 60 seconds and switch on again (this may reset your refrigerator).

Power Cord not attached at rear of appliance

The refrigerator is turned off |
Press the button for 3 seconds to start the refrigerator. |
The refrigerator is in the defrosting cycle |
This is normal for an automatic defrosting refrigerator. |
They may be a fault |

Power supply – household
|
Either test the socket by plugging in a different appliance, or by plugging your refrigerator into a different power socket.
Check the House Fuse.
